In Memory

Gerry Jones

Gerry Robert Jones was a man of many names, a father, a brother, a husband, a son, a great friend. Anyone who had met him and knew him, learned from him and loved him. He will be greatly missed by the ones he loved. Gerry worked as a little bit of everything, but his most valued job was being a stay-at-home father of his two daughters. He shared his hobbies and interests of hunting, fishing, dog training, crafting and creating with them and many others. He also enjoyed his abilities to make lasting impressions through his woodworking for others. Gerry showed many what it means to “work smarter, not harder” and be patient with others.

He fought a difficult battle with cancer, but not every battle fought is won. Born April 27, 1961, Gerry lived and loved with a full heart and happy soul. This July 4, 2018, he started his new journey and we will remember him in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife Tammy (Ackerman) of 35 years; daughters Maddie and Ellie; parents Robert and Marie Jones; brothers Griff (Catherine), Gregg and Glenn; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4125 Grand Ave., Billings.
