If the wind blows a tumbleweed and there is no one there to watch does it really tumble?

If somebody posts a message here and nobody reads it, did they really say anything?

Hey Rick, I hate to interrupt your zen-like conversations as you contemplate the cosmos, but are you coming to the reunion? We haven't received your registration yet and we're afraid you may ruin your perfect reunion attendance record. Plus, you may want to discuss your deep univere questions with some of your classmates face to face.

Well that's "6" countum "SIX" monthes to contemplate a reply Young Mr Desi Knudson ? try this one on for size;

Is it better to have no healthcare Insurance (and if you did get cancer-lose all you have worked for to pay for the care) or is it better to have government provided healthcare?

Ok Ricky, lets rumble! Nobody's going to argue that the system needs to be fixed, but can you name one government agency that can run as efficiently and cost effective as a private buisness?? I didn't think so. How about working on tort refrom and opening up the state lines to make the insurance companies compete with each other before we just give up and sell our soles?

Well I'll be hog squabbled (whatever that means!) D-Morg yours is a very good point. At present it appears that none of our elected representitives are willing to go all out against Big Business and the future paychecks they may hold for them or relenquish their own publicly paid for healthcare which I gather it is structerd quite different from the private sector (its really quite good and inenexpensive for them) I would also like to point out that in my "other" forum topic I asked a simple yet what I beleive to be quite defining question on Initiatves: the point being that Corporate infiltration of our political parties leaves little room for the common joe/joesephine to have their voices heard and have change instated.
It seems to me that only a grassroots internet powerd (i.e. Facebook, Myspace, Twitterd ) agenda is the only way for us to have our collective voice heard---VIA the Initiave/Referenda process. Thats all I was really trying to say....really...just a simple thought on my part...just a small daydream...a lil sumpin oughta nuttin....blah blah blah
